The subsidiary of the State Joint-Stock Company "Latvijas dzelzceļš", "Dzelzceļa apsardze" Ltd. was founded on 21 February 2003 on the basis of the SJSC "Latvijas dzelzceļš" security department. On 16 December 2007, "Dzelzceļa apsardze" Ltd. changed its name to "LDZ apsardze" Ltd. The company is one of the leaders in the Latvian security services market. The company has extensive experience in security services.
